Hawaii’s Largest Outdoor Grass Volleyball Event Returns:
4th Annual Luau Grass Volleyball Tournament Set for July 20, 2025 in Kailua Park, Oahu
Oahu, HI — The most exciting volleyball event in the islands is back! The 4th Annual Luau Grass Volleyball Tournament, Hawaii’s largest outdoor volleyball event, is set to take over Kailua Park on Sunday, July 20, 2025—and it’s shaping up to be the biggest, boldest Luau yet.

Hosted by Out of System and 7Gen Culture, this tournament blends elite volleyball competition with the electric vibes, all in one unforgettable day. The Luau Tournament draws top athletes and volleyball players and fans from across the islands and the mainland.

More than just a tournament, the Luau is a celebration of community, culture, and the sport of volleyball. This year’s event will feature:

The Luau is brought to life by Joe and Gage Worsley, founders of Out of System and proud alumni of the University of Hawaii volleyball program, along with fellow Out of System athlete Micah Ma’a, who recently represented Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
